Lenexa Professional Interior Decorator

Lenexa is a city in Johnson County, Kansas with a population of over 50,000. In 1854, the area that eventually became Lenexa was owned by the Shawnee Tribe and every member of the tribe was given 200 acres of land. One resident of Lenexa was named “Na-Nex-Se Blackhoof,” the widow of Chief Blackhoof and she was the second signer of the 1854 treaty that gave 1,600,000 acres of the Kansas Shawnee Indian reservation to the U.S. government.
